it's now 1.17pm here..i'm munching on pearly's leftover Guld Korn..surfing the net on christine's lappy practically cleared all my mails n to-do list..officially my 3rd day in copen and i've still not even gone to the city..hahaz think the travelling have really gotten to me this time..i wonder if i might really just pass copen like that..but i think i'll at least go by tivoli and get that personalised bear for my granny's bday..*cute*

so here's the promised blog entry..of the last..*omg* 28 days on the road..haha ok longest time i've been goin non-stop so lemme just brag abt it can..;p

so..first up..france..marseilles->bordeaux->paris

my first shot at couchsurfing *maybe y last too cos of the world cup =* well didn't go too well at first..had to walk 2km with my darn bags cos i forgot the bus number to take..and when i got there 15 min later than the meeting time Margit wasn't there already..plus i didn't have her number..no internet nearby just fantastic weather, the nice sea breeze n babes zooming by me in their tank tops n blades, whilst i watch them with 20 kg of luggage n an increasing desperate look..;p

ended up chancing upon some nice french dudes who pointed me to a hostel another 1km away..haha ok lars nt too lang bei after tt when i managed to contact margit n the next few days went by like the southern summer breeze..

pretty vespa spotted during shopping spree in the city; shots at frioul islands, where i happily got sunburnt; colorful boats found along the coast of marseille during a 3km stroll back to the house..
next stop..bordeaux..pity didn't even do a wine tour there..cos i extended my stay at marseille..but well it was worth it..anyways a wine-holic like me will be back..sometime..;p
so i kinda did all the walking paths for the city on the first day..which was a sunday..the good thing was there wasn't much of a tourist crowd around..well the down side was there wasn't even anything that's around..*ack* so didn't managed to interact much with the locals..
think the most impressive..rather mind provoking was the architectural museum..*supposed to be* which explored different forms of expression..through time freeze videos..fashion for woman's rights..love nest designs..portrait photography..was intriguing n yet at the same time not too abstract for a regular mind..

1.5 days later..Paris~
haha ok same thing..think paris wasn't fantastic..but the stay day was perfect..cos of Lara's family..*i love you girl!!* hee with a home like that i swear i wanna go home everyday n just f* travelling man..;p *hee no offense meant mummy!!* but it was really cosy and warm..both the furnishing and the people too! hee picked up some simple french phrases from maud, lara's 14yr old sis who cooked curry chicken for me..hee simply amazing how hospitable they were..sigh..really missing them too..
maud and lara's mum~

well compared to the last time..the weather was more forgiving..not so freezing..i was actually able to survive a day in shorts *though it wasn't too pleasant* but somehow..i guess the lack of winter frostiness kinda took away the romantic feeling where couples huddle together in the winter winds..oh well..

met up with marc and gerald the last 2 days in paris and did some general strolling around..just passing time..so didn't managed to cover most of the places again like the eiffel n all..well wasn't too much into the museums..so only did george pompidou a trip down LA's art scene and lourve..yeap all the famous paintings and all.it's undeniable worth a visit..but NOT for their mona lisa..totally over-rated..
a must see thou..is Mont Martre..fantastic views of the city and nice chill out spots..it's on the way to moulin rouge too..another overrated place..but interesting history to check out just outside it's doors..

views from the Mont Martre Basilique
ok..abt all for now..shall head out n catch some rays n good shots..;p
hej hej~
